West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said she would not accept the petrol price hike.
Banerjee said the hike is "unjust and unilateral. It was done without our knowledge".
In one of the sharpest rise ever, the government raised the petrol price by Rs7.50 with effect from Wednesday midnight.
